Report from South Kona

New Years eve tomorrow , wow games and fireworks , late night fun. Most likely not that kind . It was raining all afternoon, the boys are over at a sleep over on the next street with the other twins that are the same age. Its a full boys club , they have them over here sometimes too, there has been up to 7 of them at once LOL.

As I may or may not have said I don’t like to drink, I never have , nothing against it I keep some wine and beer handy for visitors, I,m more of a green herbal person as I have been for many many years now.

We some times play some games , hearts and mille bournes ( a french card game ) and make up some hot chocolate , the real kind no mixes, and some toasted Hawaiian sweet
bread. We all have whip cream , though not Kyle he doesn’t like it .

I have to email some of you I have been trying for days and never get to it , so I am geared up on lattes and going to do it, you watch LOL

A lazy Saturday night, just sitting around goofing off after a day of a little work and a afternoon of reading. Just about to make another latte and watch a movie or something
, downloaded one on to my new ipod from google video to see how it works. The Doctor Who that I tried first worked well but the sound was out of sync as it was on the google sight but the picture is great . I still only take my old one to work just incase of a unintended dip like my cell phone had. It never has been the same since.

We still have this slightly over cast weather and a little surf came in , the break was very crowded , its a busy time with lots of vacationers in and all the surf schools were out so I just hung around a little bit and cruised home. We might just take a drive tomorrow up to the snow on Mauna Kea , that is if the boys will get going and not game all day then at 2 or 3 want to go some where .

Still running the lights at night till the New Years and then it will all come down and a new year will start. Thats all the news thats fit to print as they say so till tomorrow and perhaps a snow report and some pics.

Boy I hate to work on these holiday weeks , New Years is just a few days away , we have a few fire works already and we need some more ! As it has been I have spent many new years with them games, fire works , and up after midnight . Some people always bailed out early , , I know its bad but I love saying that. With the moon still a little bright we may as we always want , do a after midnight dip in the water. Though when the time comes it can be hard to get motivated and run down to the beach, it can be a little creepy jumping in the water if it’s very dark out. The spinners will be popping and fountains going and the big crackle strings going off. Nothing better than the smell of fireworks at midnight hahaha.

The same slightly drab overcast weather , no waves still , and not any rain. At least it could rain with this weather. Its very strange for this time of year. No whale sightings yet, so little action on that front . Few reports of a few sightings but none down here along our coast .

No ham tonight Kyle revolted and ordered a burrito , I don’t blame him , we need a break for a day or two. A little tired of kid food wish I had someone to make some special recipe for out of one of my cook books for and pamper a little, that would be fun.
