Rain and more rain, from morning till night, dawn to dusk. A poncho was needed today , didn’t end up putting it on, lucked out and during the break in the harder rain I wiped in and slipped out of a few pools so the day wasn’t a waste. The traffic was a mess down town , every body and their aunty and uncle must of went shopping, there was too much rain to do much of anything else for a lot of people. Made my way back up country early and drove home thru a driving rain storm , with a pit stop at my buddy’s house for a bag of coffee, they have been picking some good coffee off the 60 year old plus coffee trees on their farm. The waves are still big but out of control today with lots of wind and unruly ocean conditions. You can here them now pounding Pebble Beach sending splashes skyward along the coast. The sunset was nice and some cool black and white photos.
I’m in the mood to cook , some lemon garlic chicken and pasta, a bag of lemons was given to me that are nice and juicy and a tad sweet should go good with some garlic and pasta.
Fun and rain, Joy and happiness Steve

Went on trip to town with the boys today for a little surf swim, the waves were way too big for them. We watched for a little while ( I will go out after work tomorrow ) only a couple of spots were rideable and very crowded , boards and people flying everywhere. They talked me into a ice cream stop and a gamestop visit , then off to the book store .With a final stop for a tree, there has been years when they run out , its not always a good idea to wait too long. A few years ago when there was no big box stores here several small tree sellers where around and everyone went to their favorite. Once the big stores came they brought trees in and sold them cheap causing a glut of trees and ran all the small sellers out. The next years they brought less trees causing a shortage and all the small local places no longer were doing any trees. We have a pretty nice 7 ft nobel fir, I love the real tree, its going up in a few days along with the giant snowman on the roof and plenty of lights, mostly white to simulate snow, with multi colored lights down stairs for a festive effect.
Its started to rain and off for the ride home with a couple of new Doctor Who books and the tree. We had Manago Hotel dinner, they have very good pork chops from happy pigs , we don’t have it very often . The hotel is about 100 years old and very unique.
Thats Sunday , Peace and joy Steve
