The Day After

Still in the semi party attitude toys here and there , mine and the kids , having fun with the new Wii games that Kyle got and playing with my new video ipod. I still use my old one for work , the new one is very cool already has a Doctor Who on it , you can down load things from google video right on it. Another nice day just a hint of surf coming in oahu has a swell hitting , it will be here in a couple of days, just have to keep my board ready to go.

The lights are on outside and the tree is all lit up , the house is still in a slight disarray , the dishes are caught up and boy there is a lot of ham several packages are in the freezer. Some people were going to make a couple of pies but store bought ones ended up being bought, they were ok not the same as a real pie, one is still in the freezer. hahaha Ham sandwiches for dinner with a couple of the left over potatoes sliced up and cooked in butter and olive oil. There is enough ham for the next few months, the big ham bone is going to be used in the New Years day beans. One thing I like to do is start the new year with a simple dinner . The new year will be a good one after all the trails and tribulations of this last year . But this is still a Holiday week and new years eve will bring fireworks and some fun ( With the Chinese influence here fireworks are a Hawaii tradition ) a dip in the ocean New Years morning for the birth of a New Year.

Lets be thankful and hope for all the best for all our brothers and sisters all around the World that have so much less than us , not think of borders and divisions just of one world one people one love . Steve
