Report from South Kona

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:

And that has made all the difference.

Late late Sunday night , it’s a holiday for many tomorrow , another work day for me . Plus a stop at the recycle spot to turn in the collection of bottles and cans. Averaging about 10 to 15 dollars a week with the ones that are collected around and my gator aid bottles last year we had a mini vacation in waikiki with the money . We get a nickel each and with the ones that I happen on around town while I’m working and our own we do pretty good with very little effort.

Today was spent just resting for once , after all the surfing and running around a day off was needed.
The kids just hung around the house with many of the kids gone for the day it was pretty quiet around c street today. Tomorrow the kids say that they will do a photo tour for us .

The cake came out pretty good , it was a home made one not out of a box , with nutella used as a topping. Very rich and not too sweet good with coffee. There is a pic up on stevejones420.com of the cake and some cute art work.

Been on a nightly sunset surf marathon the last few days , the surf has been up and down , waves everyday of different sizes . Sunny days with a few puffy clouds and a overcast afternoon here and there. All chores have gone by the way side with all free time spent in the water . Mostly have been riding the slick but for the day it jumped up pretty big and went out bodyboarding.

The boys are back in in school just to get a three day weekend again , it seems that the tree fort has been generally completed and will be put up in a few pics and a video . We or I got a hair and we have a late night chocolate cake in the oven , it’s a little experimental on the recipe . It has about a half hour to go .

Surfing till Sunset

Stayed out in the water till after sunset the last couple of nights , almost went out tonight too , the swell is picking up again . The last two nights have been fun smaller waves and most people a little surfed out and waiting for a little bigger surf , plus school is back in not as many kids around .
Nice warm water and small to medium size waves just a hand full of people out lots of fun rides.
Plus the fun of paddling in as the sun goes down.

The tree house / fort has continued to grow , just about ready to put up some photos , it seems a roof is now being installed . The kids have had many many donations from around the street of bits of wood and various items .
