Report from South Kona

OK back in , got the truck back yesterday morning , brought the old rental back . They just charged me for two of the extra 4 days that I had it. The little car good the last few days , no mishaps , made the midnight run to town and home . It kind of reminded me of Elizabeth my first car here . Nice to get back to a manual transmission , automatic is alright , not like shifting though , it’s so much nicer to have a clutch and gears more fun driving .

Stayed up way too late last night , first playing the new Super Smash Brothers on the Wii then watching this old sci fi movie , Day of the Trifeds , everyone goes blind from a meteor then giant walking plants eat them. The cold is almost gone , and it’s much easier working with the truck. Once I got it back home , it was once again loaded with my longboard on top and the bodyboard behind the seat ready to go again. Waves were coming up again today kids riding all along the coast , overcast ,little wind and he surf is building up again . I was tempted to go out after work but after this cold , one more day for safety .
Back into more of a mood to cook and made some cashew chicken with crispy noodles and sliced cucumbers tonight. Christopher liked it and ate well, Kyle had a little cookie dough lesson , that if you eat too much of it , well he had lost his appetite . He has a big tub of cookie dough for his after school snake. He is supposed to just bake a couple and not eat the dough, but there he is with a big honken spoon of it playing video games.

Another big work day catching up well and hope for a full weekend off.
