So this band rips , it’s like the days of the Specials, English beat and Original Elvis Costello all those weekends cruising up to L.A. to the Whiskey A Go Go and the Roxy all those clubs when New Wave music and doing the POGO was still in its hay day . Seeing all the Ska bands and when Reggae was almost unknown out side of Jamdown Rock ( Jamaica ) . Peter Tosh taking a huge spliff from me while on stage , yes so cool , Bob Marley and so many others. Of course after hearing a Bob Marley record in the 70s Ive never been the same and very happy about it. It was the first time that I liked music because I did not because it was popular . A life changing time and becoming more aware of the world as it is not the false media image. A Reggae Punk at heart thats still me, F growing up
LOL . This band sparks happy memories and what can be more cool than music you can pogo to.
Kyle and I powered out today so we just have a half day tomorrow ready to party all weekend . Kyle who is very very into fireworks has a major arsenal of spinners that explode and a wide variety of think that spark and blast . The only bummer is no chinese lanterns this year man I love those they may be more of a new years thing. So the corner of the living room has a pile of things that go boom and Kyle is already getting that wild look in his eyes.
Chris spent the day helping the C street crew of younger kids ( he is their idol ) make a club . He made them membership cards and printed out and wrote the rules for them. He is a ultra cool nerd so talented . Just though had to get him a new keyboard the other one was coated with this and that , bits and pieces of skiddles , things that we are better off not knowing what they are. One was bought for Kyle also , using a Chris key board is a little scary even with gloves LOL.
Blast one off for me, ox Steve
