Report from South Kona

Cold, X rays , Docs , Sleep
Man I,ve had a horrible cold this week , had to keep on going so so much work to do . Plus it’s my last two weeks with Kyle able to help. Getting home late just in time to make dinner then falling asleep, what a party pooper , Laid down just for a little rest and have ended up out like a light. Then up and off again the next day.

Plus had to go to get x rays on Tuesday , that took quite a while , first had to bring in the referral to admitting and then go thru the whole adress insurance number thing . They had it all in the computer anyway . Then take that paper and wait at the X ray department till they had a opening , the acuall x ray didn’t take long but waiting was about a hour and a half. They people that do the work are all nice but they are so under staffed and they just let go like 50 people from the hospital. Mostly admin but also the EMTs from the emergency room. Couldn’t get the x rays that day and had to return the next day before the Doc appt. That killed a lot of the day making us really work late . The Doc was a good visit , able to loose the sling and healing pretty well so far. Most of the bone has grown back , it’s the getting the arm working again thats hard now. I will fly the big kite again and also the new even bigger one and laugh at the wind , that bastard .

Also had some trouble with my website after upgrading wordpress and hassled with that one night for a while its all working now and there is a coll new art show going on again there. Thats why I haven’t been around plus working so much with a cold had me worn out.

The truck started to act up today and doesn’t want to idle , of course the dealership never called back , I wanted to bring it in on Monday but it was temperamental on the way home. May have to try to get it worked on and either rent a car again or hope they can correct the problem and catch up on sat or Monday . A good excuse to rest up for a couple of days as long as I may be stranded.

Also we got Kyle’s computer parts ordered . he went over budget , he used his money from helping me all summer . It’s kind of a sin here in this house , being that we only use macs , he is building a pc to game on , yikes . It’s a good project he will learn some about hardware and end up with a gaming computer . Thats why he is doing it to game , though he will have a education on viruses , shhh we don’t get them on our macs , and , choke , barf , gag , windows , oh god no not in our house . LOL
