Report from South Kona

Ok here we are again , yes my truck returned today , nice to get out of the nooby rent a car . It runs really really good now , the new place that did the work I found is much better than the dealership and easy to deal with. Good luck there with that find . Now I feel so much better riding back in my little pickup , that little Toyota gets very good mileage so much better then the rental a chevy cavalier . The Automotive Corpratocracy won’t even let us make a decant car any more those bastards.

We spent last night working till late on Kyles computer that he is building , found we needed a disc drive that wasn’t on the parts list and had to order one. The rest of everything is ready and well on the way to being complete. Been kind of fun putting it together though many of the instructions are cryptic and need some deciphering like ancient petroglyphs . Well it is a pc a black sheep of the family .

Sucked into a very good movie tonight Eagle vs Shark from New Zealand . One of the best movies that I’ve seen in a long time way way funny. Very quirky very funny , with a also serious side and a great disfunctional family. Fabulous nerdy love affair included. With bouts of hilarious slap stick here and there . You just much watch it , thats right , if you want to add some coolness to your movie watching .

Just about over a hideous cold that just stayed around all week then made a come back over the weekend. With all the extra work that I have been doing and my truck had a idle issue , it wouldn’t do it , I was just to burned out and made dinner then fell asleep just about every night. Now I’m back I,m in a rental having to leave my truck at the shop last Friday after having it get worse and somewhat unsafe in intersections with the engine dieing all the time. Found a new place to work on it after the dealership was booked up till 28 July . They were a little sketchy sometimes anyway . For now back in a little rental car again, poles hanging out the back window , and buckets in the back seat. Its red with gray primer doors so we don’t look to much like tourists. Though we look like noobs with out the truck . lol It was just a hard week with long days and a bad cold with humid weather. At least we have been getting rain , the good old tank is very full again .

Still not perfect but it feels good to have my arm once again out of the sling , not completely healed and still sore at times , slowly getting to be able to raise it up. All the running around also ran me down , bet that I got the cold at the hospital when getting the xrays hahaha. Kyle has it now with the runny nose and all the fun.

His computer parts are all ordered with just a few more due this week . He can then start to build it , perferrably with out much trouble , he has gone over budget though he worked very hard with me all his summer break and deserves the computer. I have him with me just this week and next then he is back to school. On my own again my arm should be ok by then.
