Weekends Over

Saturday in the afternoon a chicken roasting on the BBQ along with some sliced potatoes with garlic and onions splashed with some olive oil wrapped in foil , slow roasted like the chicken. Some steamed peas with butter and that was our Saturday BBQ . Didn’t end up making the pineapple upside down cake this weekend, but soon come I’ll bake one. Then later we had that old movie war games , that I fell asleep during , Kyle was the only one up to finish watching it . Had planned to come online and do some emails ans stuff but never did get back up .

Chris spent a lot of the weekend on Teen Second Life making his little apt there that he is renting with his allowance, he gets 5 dollars a week , about 10 dollars is his rent per month. Seems to be some drama there on the teen site and lots of interaction between the boys and girls. Chris has brought his scripting skills from regular second life and has made some neat little things like a virtual lap top . it should be good for his social skills and interacting with the other sex , GIRLS , he wants a little online girl friend like many of the kids have . They all do this voice chat with their avatars , all these little voices coming out of his room , shhh little girls , he is going to get so pissed if he reads this :) hahahaha

This sunny morning was spent having a couple of lattes then out to the garden to get it in to a little better shape . The tomatoes were cut way back they had really over grown and the birds are eating all the little green ones before they can grow . Not many have been picked , they just disappear after flowering . A bonanza of Basil did get cut today all the types , big leaf , Greek , Purple and Lemon . Lots of thyme also harvested , some of the beds got some new soil , trying some zucchini again in a different spot and plated some cilantro from the seeds from the last batch. After cutting back the tomatoes the pepper plant now can get some sun and the few carrots that made it came up . They tasted good but did not get very big , many did not make it. Now I am wanting to plant some green beans again , they had done so well last time . We also did a big dump run up to the transfer station , stopped at Fujiharas store for some sodas on the way home , then cleaned up lots of the garage and got all the camping gear put away finally .

Steamed up some brown rice with the garden carrots and made a dish with the left over chicken from last night with gravy and peas. Ready for a new week of adventures !

peace and Love Steve , aka Mr Jones xoxoxoxo
