Report from South Kona

Wild Story
The newspaper had the story about the incident down on d street this week end . I didn’t even know it wasn’t just a couple that lived there. The husband was bed ridden and could not move on his own , the wifes sister lived there along with the wifes boyfriend . Or something like that , anyway the wife was found dead in a bedroom stabbed . Her sister had cuts on her hands , done by the boyfriend of her sister, she was taken off to the hospital . The boyfriend who had chest pains and was being arrested was also hauled off to the hospital and now is in jail . The husband also had to be taken to the hospital since he could not move on his own . Well now it’s quiet now and the house has been dark since all this happened . It’s kind of weird to think that this had started when Chris and I were out on the deck and could here the F bomb being yelled and a lot fighting , that was not unusual as the were many yelling matches down there that we often could here from the deck .

It,s still been a little voggy , hey but there has been some clearing and the sun was blazing hot today with just a little cloudiness in the afternoon . made a lot of stops today since I am behind after all that time getting x rays and Doctors apt and all that . If i power as much as I did today tomorrow I should be caught up and maybe not even work on Saturday for once . There were some nice waves coming in today but I can’t think of them yet , since I can’t paddle yet , it looked like a nice south swell coming thru . I can go into the water now some easy swimming is going to be good to get the shoulder and arm rotating again . Kite flying is back as long as it’s not in extreme winds the pulling will be good for my arm and is proscribed by the Physical Therapist .

Open house at school last night , went around with Chris to his classes , about 10 minuntes of so for each one . It’s kind of like a school day so you can see what the classes and day is like . Kyle had his mom go around with him so no he wasn’t left out . Chris has all the usual classes math . science , history and he is also taking beginning Japanese . He has a good set of teachers this year , it should be a good year for him . We got home a little late and Chris had a little bit of a temp. and he went right to sleep though when he woke up he was feeling better and went to school. They have no school tomorrow , three day weekend for them .

Went to my last Doc appt for my arm its almost healed just have to keep the Therapy sessions for a bit to get my arm back in full swing . Two a week for the next three weeks then I think that the arm will be close to back to normal.

Will update on the incident that happened on the next street , there was a story in the paper today about it .
