Late Start Monday
Started way late today after spending a good deal of the night up with Chris . He woke up in the middle of the night with a ear ache and had us up most of the night . He ended up with Kyle’s cold and had a stuffy nose today . Once Kyle left for school , Chris was asleep and stayed home , I went back to sleep till about 930 a then got a slow start . Still got stuff done and went to Physical therapy session for a little bending and tweeking .

The good ole espresso maker has been out for while and now that the cleaner came it still is cloged up . In fact a bunch of black bits came thru like a gasket fell apart inside or something . It’s in its second year so the warranty just covers parts and I have to mail it to sfo . I think that I will have to find another one , most likely a different brand , and take this one apart and try to fix it myself. After all the shipping and labour it may be just too expensive to fix . Bummer . Been just using the stove top model that is for camping and a hand frother , good for camping but we need a machine for home that we can really crank some out .

Finally unwrapped the big kite out of its bag for the first time . It’s big 11 feet , green and blue sea foam color , fancy screen mesh over the baffles , and strong lines . All the kite are ready to fly , the first spot will either be done at home town pebble beach or maybe a medow up north by Hawi or somewhere new . I may be a soured about flying at South Point for a while .

Little bit of surf around with some inconstant sets rolling in form time to time . The vog has cleared out a bit and it was some what clear today and at times very hot . Still clouds up in the early afternoon and with camera ready went for a sunset shot but it petered out and just didn’t happen tonight .
