Hanging Out
Another fine day , the vog has been blown away the last couple of days . Today being clear once again the horizon was really there . Humid and not much wind blowing , the waves have been flat now for a while just those stand up paddle boarders out . The new term for them is sweepers , I like it because it looks like they are using a broom on the water. It really shouldn’t but they do bug me for some reason . Maybe I just go for the traditional style of surfing , the worst sin that can be done of course is jet skies at a surf spot , totally evil .

Usual day of listening to all my podcasts and a little music on the ipod . Cruising around to all my stops and hitting the juice place for a pineapple pleasure and a small wheat grass . Thats starting to be my lunch now , easy to keep going , not like after too heavy of a lunch . made my way down in the afternoon to Old Airport Beach park to perhaps fly one of the kites down on the ball field . The wind just wasn’t there too calm .

The new book I’m reading Lonely Werewolf Girl about a run away punk rocker Werewolf with a very humorous cast of characters and a disfunctional family . Thats about it , as usual mcsame is out doing nutty things , is he really this clueless ? What about his health , he keeps his records a little secret , 74 , and drifting over the line of sanity . When being interviewed he just kind of repeats the same old thing and kind of smirks like the evil one whos name is not spoken . lol

Not a Trace of Vog , Dating
Clear as it has been in years today , totally tropical day , this evening the horizon was a sharp clean line . It looked like as happened just one other time , you could see a bit of maui on the north horizon . It was very late in the day and the sun was almost gone . But thru the clouds it looked looked like a bit of a island there . Perhaps tomorrow morning there will be another day as today was . With the sunset getting very clear with several tropical rain clouds around .

The boys will get me if they read this but there was a little conversation about girlfriends and girls liked with the other twin from up on B street . One of the other twins is the first one to have a girl friend . That for now consists of doing a little hand holding at school , it’s against school rules so that must make it so much more fun to sneak and get away with . lol Drifting away into the kitchen after being in on some of the discussion . There is a girl that I think Chris likes that he said was always staring at him , he hot to grow up a little more . The other boys were also trying to get Kyle to admit that he likes a girl at school . He doesn’t want to release the name yet . :0

My Obama for Pres T shirt came today so I.m wearing it now . He is a little to hawkish for me but man sooo much better then mcsame . Did you know he crashed 5 planes ? was at the very bottom of his class and the only reason he got to be a pilot was that his dad and grandfather were both big navy guys admirals or some thing . Plus he is totally clueless about the economy , just a grumpy old man . With his history who knows what he has in mind for Palin , whats with that anyway , some kinky pow moose hunter thing . Something creepy anyway lol .

Just made one trip to the store and one to the beach , that was about the only things that went on this weekend . Over cast skies have been and a general grayness has been most of the weather , For a short while in the morning there is a nice bit of sunshine , nice little breeze coming and going along . Today the boys with little or no big protest helped do a cleanup and big counter and kitchen floor scrubbing . Kyle did the lanais and finished getting the leaves left over from the big trim back last weekend . Plugged in the ipod to get some of the cd’s playing for a little motivation . In just a couple of hours sticking to the plan we got all of it done and more . So it was a nice afternoon with everything in place or close as it gets . The magic machine hissing and steaming away filling up little cups with frothy goodness . My new book and a light breeze carrying just a bit of misty rain down . Music wafting out to the deck , the universe was in order for a bit , spinning along here and there.

Friday night the debate was on pbs so I watched some of it , That mcsame guy snickering was just so strange what was with that , like he had to do it to keep from going over the edge or something . Oh ya pow pow , The guy crashed like 5 planes , never has had even a real job . He is good at marrying up though lol , It’s pretty obvious that he just holding on and ready to snap at any minute going right over the edge . Obama is a little too hawkish him self for me , 100 percent better than anyone else and a million and one times better the evil one we do not speak the name of .

Have the BBQ going , roasting some chilis and white onion for salsa . Chopped them up with a green onion and some garlic . Bunch of chopped tomatoes , little cumin and a bit of chili powder . just what was hanging out . Plus put a Acorn Squash on and roasted it with some butter on in the little pit left over from the seeds . Now just about to put some Ono ( tuna ) and a little bit of steak on , kind of a South American theme with black beans , salsa ,the squash , chips and the Ono and Steak . Should have got some corn tortilla too but we should be good with the chips .

What been going on , well here is whats happening . Along with my Burning Spear CD , thge other one is a Cuban band that plays a kind of Latin Hip Hop fusion sound , Orishas a lo cubano is the name of the recording . Really cool . All the pod casts are all over this Wall street welfare thing , what a rip off , these guys are still getting huge bonus’s and large pay offs . While we have to buy all their crappy dept , maybe I want a little cash too . It’s all the rules that were put in place after the stock market crash and the depression in the 30s , that they got away with changing and getting rid of , they kept this kind of thing from happening . Another fine mess you got us in Stanly , will it ever end with these buffoons . No more old fat ass farts in the White House . Don’t get me going about that Alaska lady , now thats a nut case .

The vog has cleared out quite a bit , the sun has been blazing away and I still can’t find the right big straw hat . I need one with a major wide brim , they can be hard to find the ones that I really like . Ocean is very very calm and flat , milk glass surface , just a hint of breezes in the afternoon with a few cooling showers . Clouding up at the sunset hour so there still hasn’t been any great ones at all . After all the trouble from forgetting my laptop out in the rain on the deck . I have been paranoid and keeping it on my desk for safe keeping . that was a bummer .

Physical therapy this afternoon only two more visits left , then the insurance doesn’t pay for any more . Still some what stiff but it will be back soon enough . After that I went over for a hair cut , I was hitting the hobo looking stage . lol
