Brown Rice , Humidity

Slowly switching over to brown rice from white , now Kyle has not been enthusiastic , he likes the white one . Rice is served quite a bit over here white all the Japanese and Asian influence . Just have been making brown rice for the last couple of weeks , Kyle has stopped grumbling about it and didn’t even have a little comment tonight . He likes this one , is there any real rice tonight lol .

Cleared up again after some vog started moving back in this morning . It has turned super humid now and rained thru the late afternoon and into the evening and still a very flat ocean . Same weather day after day no major events for a long time now .

Everyday there is some new sketchy thing about mcsame and ms stepford . You know the way she always stands there with that weird smile going . It reminds me of that lady in the latest Harry Potter Movie, oh whats her name again the one that takes over the school and is such a you know what . Doris Umbridge that’s the one . Kyle knew it , he has read every one of those books some several times . Even though they don’t look alike she makes me think of that character , you can just see her taking over in some twisted evil way or something and then going over the deep end . lol :) The lady that takes over the school from professor Dumbledorf .

Rolling Stone has compiled a nice list of myths about Sarah Palin.

1. THE MYTH: “She took the luxury jet that was acquired by her predecessor and sold it on eBay. And made a profit!” — John McCain, at a campaign stop in Wisconsin

THE FACTS: No one bought the jet online. It was eventually sold through an aircraft broker — at a loss to taxpayers of nearly $600,000.

2. THE MYTH: “I told the Congress ‘Thanks, but no thanks’ on that Bridge to Nowhere.” — Sarah Palin, convention speech

THE FACTS: Supported the infamous pork project in her 2006 run for governor, even after Congress had killed the bridge; derided its opponents as “spinmeisters.” Reversed her stance a year later — but kept the money, doling out the $223 million in federal funds to other pork projects throughout the state.

3. THE MYTH: “We … championed reform to end the abuses of earmark spending by Congress.” — Sarah Palin, convention speech

THE FACTS: As mayor, employed a lobbyist who also worked for Jack Abramoff to secure $27 million in pork spending for Wasilla — more than $4,000 per resident. In her two years as governor, requested $453 million in earmarks. Alaska ranks first in the nation for pork, raking in seven times the national average.

There is some action down at the Volcano a new lava lake may be forming I heard . Some further investigation is needed before we make a mission down there . That would be fun to see at night . Other good news Halloween is on a Friday night this year perfect for a midnight grave yard visit . Plus the kids don’t have to get up the next morning .

Peace and Love Steve MR Jones
