Thunder up the Slope
Tumble and rumble from up the slope of Mauna Loa rising above us . Load fits of thunder with occasional brief down falls of rain . The hazy horizon that has been Voggy again opened up , the ocean turning this very light aqua blue as the light disapeared along with the sun behind the clouds . The ocean has been flat for the last couple of days or so , resting between the large winter swells .
WOW There goes a big rumble !
Two new Egg Plants went into the garden yesterday , one a long Japanese style , and the other a Greek Type of some kind. Two Tomato plants jumped in too . One Roma and a small sweet Cherry type , with some luck these will get a few tomatoes that the birds and creatures don’t get . Had some seeds from the last Butternut squash , planted those to see how they will do . All the rest of the garden plants , growing well . The Bok Choi doing much better than thought , may be the first vegetable harvested . Asparagus , Radish , Broccoli , Pea pods and green beans all surviving so far .
Now the light rain falls in the darkness , time to make some dinner .
