Report from South Kona

Ute and I had a little afternoon down at South Point , flying kites and letting the Dew man run around the open lands . After having to go a do a little job this morning and dropping the K Girl of at the top of the hill , meeting the van of Cheer Leaders , on their way to Hilo for a game . Hit the road south , loaded with Kites a cooler and a couple of sandwiches . Peanut butter and jam , Strawberry , yumm . Dry and brown , it hasn’t been raining down there , we did then cruise . Stopped at the cliffs to check them out and then ventured over to the meadows by the sea . Steady wind was a perfect day for a little flying . We sent up on the small kites first to get tuned in to the wind . Ute flew great , zipping that kite here and there , wiping turns just fractions of a inch from the ground . Had so much fun we ran out of time to send up a bigger kite . Next time LOL .

The last two weeks have been work , work , work . It was great to have a afternoon off , just us two . Ute being such a good dog trainer has made Dewey such a good dog . He is really fun to take places , plus he has started to swim well and seems to know most of the time when the water is too rough to go in . A surf dog in the making , he like to float around down at pebble on a boogie board then dive off and swim around .
