Big Red Surf Board Restoration Fund

This is Big Red a surf board I have had for over 35 years and is much older then that . I used to ride it many years ago at Doheny Stare Beach in Dana Point Ca . Now it is on the BIg Island of Hawaii and has been in dry dock for a few years but I have had it out several times in the past . Riding at Keei on small days skipping over the reef . Diving on it so that it doesn’t hit the shore line rocks . Still classic never had a leash . The nose has been tapped up with duck tap as long as I can remember , since I first got it thats for sure . I not sure when it was first made , but maybe the late 50s or early 60s . The plan is to , with some luck , get Kent Jacobs , Hap Jacobs son who loves here to do the work . Hap most likely made this board , so how cool to have his son restore it so Big Red can ride again not just sit or be hung on a wall. But ride on and on . If you want to toss a buck or two see the donate button and that would be cool . Good karma too .
