Report from South Kona

Been dogging out on the blog , now I’m back again for more updates . Used to post it to Myspace though have been mainly on Facebook these days . There is many humorous stories and events to be in the future posts . This morning we are off for Kaylee to have her wisdom teeth pulled . Yikes !

Out in the warm water , riding the bands of energy almost every afternoon this week . Had Ute out riding along in the bubbles and smooth faces . Switching off to my long board , had Ute on the cool Manta 46 body board . She rode it well , it worked good for her , last time she rode the smaller 42 that is a little too small for me too . The waves have been coming in all week , a little bigger on some days . Tuesday is Utes day off so I ended going out alone in a little bigger surf , then I had Ute back out on the other days . Except Friday , we had a long day stopping at Cosco for supplies on the way home , turning off the water at a couple of pools that needed some refilling along the way home .

All in all it was a good week getting out in the water so much with the waves coming back . having a good weekend so far , Kyle is down hanging out , Chris is off to the Home Coming game tonight and Kaylee has been a little sick over night she may not be able to go . But had planned to . Just roasted some Anaheim peppers and a big white onion for a little batch of salsa . Drinking lattes and Listening to Gregory Issacs the cool ruler on the Ipod .

Off for another week , down in Town for a nice sunny day . It’s hot and the ocean is calm , so far a bogus summer all in all for waves . There has been one swell that I had to work during . But over all the daily small waves have not been happening . The kids are off for the week , chris has a ton of homework to catch up on . Kyle who knows , Video games , Kaylee is helping us today after a appt . Stay Cool Steve

Waiting for a Parade , Dewey on a wanted poster

Hanging out waiting for a parade to end lol. The K girl is in with her group of cheer leaders the Ironman parade. Yes it’s that whole thing again. The town Is packed , bicycles zipping here and there just waiting to be hit . LOL Im posting having a coffee on my iPhone . Anyway there is posters around with a lost dog that looks a lot like Dewey . The lost dog isn’t the Dewman but the picture turns out to be of him . There is a little note that the pic isn’t of the lost dog but looks like him . The pic comes from the Humain soc. It’s one of him Before we adopted him . We kept seeing the fliers and We thought it might be a dewman look alike . So funny it is the dewman . LOL Steve

Here I am again at the Konawaena High School football game . Really just to see Kaylee Cheer and Chris likes to come for the crowd . We aren’t into football at all in fact it’s boring to me . LOL But we have to pick up Kaylee so we came to see her cheer in her new outfit they just got . Its been so fricken hot still everyday , hotter then I can remember . Tomorrow we have to get to the beach. 96 in shade , lol Steve
