Report from South Kona

Popped into Bong Bro,s for a pound of coffee on the way for a little treat , almost ran out this morning just enough for one little coffee. Pearl,s was out of beans so a last minute pull off for some at Bong’s . Now having my second , fresh roasted is good makes a little layer of pure coffee foam if you make soon enough after grinding. This makes for a perfect afternoon with two of south kona,s best farm products. .. weather is still in limbo just the same , could this be a calm before a storm , most of the time we have had some big north swells by now not this summer dull drums .

Flowed thru the day playing some old English Beat and Ska , Desmond Dekker and a little U- Roy .
Always had a little jamaican rudeboy in me when it comes to music , still have many 45,s that were brought back from all the trips in the early 80,s down there . I need one of those new turn tables that you can play your old records right onto the computer . They have a few pops and stuff but there are many that haven,t been played in years . it will be nice to have them all on the Ipod ,
