Broccoli Leaf

This Broccoli plant has a good start going , this is the first time I have tried them in the garden . The little dew drop is nestled so comfortable there .

Whats Happening in the Garden

First flower on one of the Eggplants , there has also been a nice steady supply of Pea pods . Green beans and easy to grow radishes give a almost daily supply , the radish greens are very good thrown in with the stir fry . Radishes chopped very fine are good in Salsa and mixed in to a salad . This is a very small garden with a little time here and there put in . Right by the drive way it easy to do a little watering and picking a little something that can be used in dinner .

Chinese Bok Choi

Fresh from the small garden , grew at a rapid pace with very little trouble . Picked them this afternoon after noticing one just starting to send off a flower . Wasn’t expecting them to be ready so fast . Just the smallest bit of nibbling on one or two leaves , no pesticides were used on the plants .

Washed and cooked in a bit of oil , with some Sesame oil splashed on , dash or two of soy sauce , garlic and blop of oyster sauce . Stir Fried then at the finish a lid slightly smaller than the pan . Placed on top for just a minute of steaming . For the purest , serve with two scoops sticky rice .
