Report from South Kona

Just after the flash storm , the skies cleared allowing this rare sight of the island of Maui in the far distance . Just behind the Pali of Kealakekua Bay . Vog often obscures the view , today the cliffs could be clearly seen after the high winds and intense rain of the morning cleared the skies .

The last of the storm is drifting away, a slightly stormy sea and the last of the gusty winds, lots of clouds no rain . The ocean is calming , things returning to normal, just a few stormy waves not great for riding but very nice to look at. A two latte sunset , with a very calm evening , the boys are up on the next street for a sleep over , an all night marathon of video gaming at the twins house that are the same age it is a full boys club.

Out on the deck with just the little sounds of the waves on the rocks and this and that.
The plan for the tree and lights has been moved till tomorrow, Its almost too calm I’m going to put on a little Bob Marley , Natural Mystic , to get that nice meditative mood.
Sit back and maybe chat a little and just goof off. If someone was around I’d cook something fun but being just me tonight maybe just something very simple . Sunday ,tomorrow a surf or just a swim at pebble beach in the morning .
