Another fine day, sunny hot, not a ripple to speak of the ocean is once again a great big lake. Sparkling blue and just a light watery splashing on the rocks. The Vog has rolled in again so the horizon is hazy now not the best for sunsets, though the cooling temp. at sunset makes it very pleasant out on the deck. Lights are pretty much up, we did have several strands that had seen their last year and out they went. The snowman is our best because of the light inside it stands out at night since there are no street lights out here in the country.

The traffic is crazy with hair ball passes on the corners and some cars driving in a panic, though there is just one road so when you get to the first couple of lights as the road nears town everyone is in same place anyhow. Often you pull up right behind some who has done several wild passes on the road in and here you have cruised along with the music going enjoying the ride. Thats the last of the traffic crabing hahahaha.

Making some chips , I like to cook my own , and burritos. The boys just have their kid ones , though I am going to make some shrimp and have some tostadas with beans and salsa fresh shrimp and a pile of local lettuce and fresh tomatoes. I have been trying to buy as much produce as possible that is grown locally. It going with the 50 mile thing about buying as much food as you can that is produced within 50 miles of where you live to support local farmers.

I want to post soon some funny stories about the many disfuntional christmas’s that we had growing up. Well my siblings and I find them funny. The famous tradition of the burning of the rolls , sandy feet , and the evil stepmother ( really a truly evil one )
